I guess this might be a sort of uncommon question.
I've used Genius with iTunes a few times in the past and loved it.
However, I don't typically keep my music in iTunes after transferring it to my iPod. This is because I have very little available disk space on my hard drive. When I buy a CD, I transfer the music to iTunes, transfer the songs to my iPod, and then delete the songs from iTunes and my computer in order to save space. When I want to listen to music on my computer, I plug in the iPod via USB and listen to the songs right in iTunes.
(I have a 5th gen iPod)
Since iTunes can play my songs fine just by having the iPod plugged in, is there any way to use Genius without having the songs also in iTunes?
Probably a hopeless question, but I figured I'd try. This constantly bothers me.
