Simplicated

Hello,

I just migrated the iTunes library from my old Mac to my new one by copying the whole "iTunes" folder in the Music folder. Everything works great except updating Genius results. It gives me an error with an error code -50, which I can't find any information about it online.

I've tried deauthorizing the Mac and then reauthorize it, but that seemed to be futile.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

How about going into preferences and just turning Genius off, quitting iTunes and launching it again and turning it back on? What would you really lose, except maybe whatever the last set of regular Genius-provided results were from your prior setup. It shouldn't change any genius playlists that you saved if you had created some manually. I have a bunch of those and i can turn Genius off and on without affecting the saved Genius lists.

If that doesn't help, then since you do have a new Mac, you should be able to get free tech support on the phone from Apple.
