iTunes gift card problem

I have an iTunes gift card that I started using for an account. I don't use that account anymore and I use a new one now. But I can't redeem the iTunes gift card (there is money on it still) for the new account. Is there a way i can or can it only be used once on only one account? Thanks.

Once you redeem the gift card the dollar amount goes into your iTunes account. It does not stay on the card.

I am pretty sure that you can not transfer that to another account.

man that's rediculious. I just don't know the password to other one anymore. Can I contact apple and ask them to refer it to my other account?

Well, I do have another account and just don't feel the use for the old one anymore.... oh well...

My GF did the same thing when her PC died. I bought her a new MB and just added her to my account. She had $25 on hers.
