iTunes Gift Card 'Song' Credits to buy an Album?

I used my AmEx reward points to get 25 'free' iTunes 'song' credits, and it just says 25 in the corner of my screen. When I buy a song it just deducts one from it.

Now, I'm wondering what if I want to buy an album that costs 9.99, will it cost me 10 songs or the 14 songs that are really on it?
