This may be a stupid question, but if I bought a iTunes Gift card thought App store and send it a a gift to someone, the card can be used to buy apps?

I did a quick search on the web, that shows some people saying "no", and this let me confuse.

tks in advance, and a good Christmas to all.

You can use to buy All in iTunes and Mac App Store:apple:

tks for the quick reply.

Gift is sent. I was just surprised by the fact that at any stage my apple id password was never asked. First time I bought something in the store without put the password.

Did this change recently? last time I did this it charged my CC. Make sure your gift card credit was debited and not your other payment options.
