So, I move my Itunes library to my external drive to save HD space. I import my library in Itunes and everything looks fine... Then I press play on one of my songs and Itunes tells me that it cannot find it! I can locate it for itunes, but that takes time! It always looks for my music in my Home folder... What do I do to fix this, so It knows that they are in my external drive? I followed the steps, set my download and library folder, converted the .xml, and everything! Arg! Someone help!

This really needs to be in an FAQ somewhere (actually, it probably is, just people never LOOK for it)... Here's a post I made on this very subject just yesterday.
