Hi,

My computer was stolen a few weeks ago and I restored from my time machine backup when I got a new computer. I was unable to open itunes at first (the program kept "quitting unexpectedly"), but after a round of software updates I was able to access the program. Unfortunately no data is displaying in iTunes – just a bunch of squares where text should be. I'm attaching a screen shot because the problem is kind of hard to describe.

Can someone tell me how to fix this? I noticed that there is no itunes.xml file in my user>music>itunes folder. could this be the problem?

Thanks!
