iTunes has messed up with my Events after iPhoto update

After iPhoto last update, when I connect my iPhone to my iMac, under the iTunes Photos tab there are some duplicated or triplicated or "more-ated" Events with the same name and thus only one of them selected. It's like each Event was split into many smaller ones.
Anyone else with such issue?

I'm having this problem too, I like to keep some events synced on my phone. Any fix you came across?
