iTunes HAS NOT rolled over so far this tuesday... which means something is coming! Either later today or tomorrow.

Obviously, iTunes 6.0.5 is coming, but who knows, maybe we'll see new iPods!

Or it means nothing is going to happen and they are running late. There is plenty of precedent for that, iTMS updates tend to be sloppy.

I am sorry but what does roll over mean?
Every Tuesday they change the featured songs, freebies etc., and they send out a bit of spam and update their little podcast.

(I never went anywhere, I've simply been pining for the fjords.)

Could be. But I've found iTunes is always updated by the time I wake up. In addition, we're EXPECTING 6.0.5, since it's required for that Nike thing. Probably no new iPods, but between this and the Made In iTunes slip-up last week, I'd now bet money that we'll see 6.0.5 today or tomorrow.

Two weeks ago it took a day for it to roll over.

I'm not expecting anything special, but you are not unfounded in expecting something if the site doesn't roll over.\

...and die.

not till september

Could be, but I doubt we'll see any new iPods before the currect iPod promotion ends (sept. 16th).

Wouldn't any significant feature additions justify calling the release 6.1?

An update is usually delayed when the day before was a US holiday, which was the case 3 (?) weeks ago. No holiday yesterday. Could they be adding the Nike bit for iTunes 6.0.5?

Something is definitely brewing...excluding public holidays, iTMS updates (music, TV etc) have been very consistent - as I head to bed in my neck of the woods at this time of the week, the new content has *always* been introduced...not so tonight...6.05 sounds like a pretty safe bet

Let's have it Apple!

U.S. Independence Day is next week, but that's a little soon for Apple to be taking a vacation. Of course, many drivers look for ways to beat the holiday traffic, so perhaps Apple took a day off early to beat the holiday web traffic.

I used to think that might be the case, but it's happened so many times that I doubt it. There's some reason behind their schedule other than carelessness, and we customers haven't yet figured it out.

It's 7:45pm here in the UK, and our store still hasn't updated as is the habit on Tuesdays. It usually updates fairly early in the working morning local time here.

I suspect they have an office pool regarding when we first post a thread about it not being updated. Right now, Jenny in Accounting is happily counting her money from having the 4:45 AM PST - 5:00 AM PST slot.

Still no refresh (Noon Pacific), and I can't "check for purchases" on my Multi-Passes. It tells me the store is unavailable, check back later.

We all know it's just because, later today, Apple will file for bankruptcy. Geesh. It's not like you didn't see it coming.

But if I could please get something hawt for the free single, first, I would really appreciate it.
