Hi guys,

Probably one for the UK followers. I've recently seen Sky HD on my parents set up and was wondering what is the difference in quality between iTunes HD content and Sky HD. I know they're both 720p but is there any major difference watching it on a tv?

Cheers

I think Sky is 1080i not 720p...

But its variable, some channels have higher bandwidth than others so BBC HD has good quality (better than itunes i think) but some are not quite as good.

BBC HD has good quality
BBC HD is now crap, it was better last year

All the sports channels on Sky HD and Sky1 HD blow iTune out of the water, BBC HD and iTunes are comparable and I don't really watch the other HD channels but I am sure that Sky Movies is also better than iTunes as well.

Personally I prefer Blu-ray over all then Sky HD then iTunes HD.
