When buying HD TV shows off iTunes does it download the SD as well? And if so does it charge you more than $60? I just bought the HD version of Chuck Season 2 since I have seen Season 1 and looked at the download part in the iTunes and it has 44 to download. I noticed that is it downloading the SD as well. Is that really how it does it? I've bough Scrubs Seasons 3 & 4 before but those where just SD.

Yes, HD purchases include the SD version (so you can copy it to your iPod/iPhone if you want).

Cool, I just didn't want to get charged for more than what I got.

I just noticed it too and found this thread because I was wondering, does it use up 2x the space? An individual HD episode of a 20 minute sitcom is around 700 mb, and I wasn't sure if that included the SD version as well.

It's not twice the space. The SD version of an episode takes up a little less than half of the space that the HD version of that same episode.

The SD version of a 700MB HD file would be around 320MB.
