Hi,
I have a PC running Windows 7 and store all of my music on an external harddrive. Recently everytime I try to play a song in Itunes I get an error message saying "This song could not be used because the original file could not be found." I can locate individual files and then they will play, but I have 150+ GB of music so it would be hell to locate them all. I would just delete my library and start from scratch, but I also have several playlists that I have spent hours on and really don't want to lose. This problem seemed to start after I reset and then restored my Iphone a few days ago. When I went to sync my music to my phone, Itunes no longer could find the music files. I have also checked to make sure that the media folder location is set to the correct file on my harddrive but nothing changes.

Is there any hope, or have I pretty much lost my playlists?
