I've got a lot of movies & t.v. shows in mkv format and whenever i try converting them to m4v so i can add some artwork, tag and import them into my iTunes library, they end up losing a lot of quality even with handbrake

So i've been looking for an iTunes alternative or some way that i can have all of my video files organized like iTunes but without the quality lost from conversion
