I have been using iTunes for about a couple years now and before that I used SoundJam.

I have a couple questions.

1) When I double click on a sound file that iTunes plays it opens it and automatically adds it to the library play list. Can I turn this function off? I don't always want a file added to the play list. Just to clarify this is about the playlist only. It is not moving or copying the file to the music folder just adding the file to the playlist.

2) When I import a soundtrack it reorganzes it into folders by Artist. I would prefer if the folders were by CD then Artist. For example all Soundgarden albums would be in a Sondgarden folder also all the songs on the soundtrack to Episode 1 would be contained within a folder titled Episode 1.

Is there a way I can get have it organize the folders differently. I do currently have the choice for iTunes to automatically keep your music folder organized switched off. Though it's too late for my music folder since it already destroyed the organization.

If there are any hidden features or 3rd party apps to add features to iTunes please post about them here.

Also please let me know what you think of iTunes and how you use it.
