i havd 10 songs in folder A
i created a new playlist in itunes

and deagged and dropped them onto the playlist

then mac told me my disk is almost full....


so ,does itunes actually copy the files somewhere else ...so that if I delete folder A - there wuold be no effect on the playlist?

Yes, iTunes makes a copy for it's own library. If you moved music into iTunes from any external location, you can get rid of them, as they are now in two places on your hard drive.
