I just purchased a new macbook pro and I wanted to transfer my music collection from my old PC to my new mac. So I backed up my music to an external hard drive and then imported it all to my mac. Everything appeared to work ok except I have a bunch of duplicates. Also, many of the songs do this weird thing where they also display the name of the artist, however when I play the song, the artist name is removed from the song title and is replaced simply with the correct title.
First of all, why is all of this happening and is there any easy way to correct all the song titles and delete the duplicates without manually having to go throw each song one at a time?
