iTunes Home/Music sharing not working - 'Shared' doesn't show up

I don't use it a lot, but the one time I really want to it doesn't work. I can't figure out what the problem is. I have two computers, one Windows 7 one Lion, latest iTunes version on each, Home sharing turned on on each, everything checked and enabled in the Sharing section of preferences. But still the 'Shared' section that's supposed to appear in the left side of iTunes won't show up :mad: what's wrong? :(
