iTunes: How do I "freeze" the Next Up List?

Let's say I start playing a symphony that has 4 movements. I start the first movement, and the "Next Up" list shows the next three movements, in order. However, if I then move around iTunes -- say to add new albums or edit metadata on other songs/albums, the "Next Up" list is modified as the view modifies. If I sort songs by date added or bit rate or something, the next song played is something fairly random. I assume there is an easy solution to this?
