I have a ton of AAC (m4a) audio files that are in iTunes. All the audio files are named in the following number format: xxxx-xx (i.e.=1024-03.m4a, 0554-01.m4a, etc...). I also have a tab delimited text file that contains the song title, artist name, artist album, etc... for all the song filenames. FYI, I do not want to change the actual filename of the songs.

If you haven't guessed it already, my goal is to be able to merge the info, that is in the text file for each of the songs, into the actual song ID3 or into iTunes so that iTunes will display the ID3 info for those songs, instead of just showing the song filename. It appears that I can do this for mp3's, but I don't want to bulk convert (or downgrade) the files to mp3 to get this done. I also prefer to do this with OSX rather than Windows.

Anyone have any ideas that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg?

Thanks
