Itunes import issue

OK so loaded lots of music into itunes not problem.

last import was 29th sept.

so got a new mix which is over hour long.

It will not import.

It does not try, no error message or anything.

open add to library and select the mix click open and takes me back to itunes and does not import.
Been trying for a few days now.

really annoying me.

UPDATE:

Itunes cannot play it from finder.
Quicktime player can.

Maybe this why.
But why does itunes not play the mp3?

I located the problem.

I discovered the mix was HUGE!

like 8 hours huge!

It is not it's only 38 mins so something went seriously wrong with the download.

Deleted it and redownloaded it and it is now 38 mins and imports and plays fine in itunes.

bit odd.

had 38mins of music then 7 and half hours of silence!

It's not always iTune's fault.

but it sorted now and error was with download not itunes it added 7.5 hours to the track length for some reason.
