Hi all!
I saw a thread in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2526366&tstart=0 with a similar question however my case is a little bit different. I couldn't find here a similar one.
I have an external NTFS HDD where I store all my mp3s. I have a MBP so I am particularly interested to:
(a) Be able to have a library with sorted all my mp3s from my external HDD using iTunes but with the song still located in the external HDD
(b) To import locally to the MBP HDD only some of them
The problem is I do not want to import all the songs, in order to have in my MBP only some of them (e.g. what I usually listen), however when I'm at home to be able to access through iTunes automatically all my mp3s from the external HDD.
Is this possible? Any suggestions?
I suppose the most easiest way is to first import the songs I want into the iTunes, with them stored locally in MBP's HDD and when I'm at home to locate the other mp3s manually in the external HDD. However this seems a little bit... sloppy!
Thanx to all!
