iTunes importing

When importing movies in iTunes (not bought from Itunes store) the "Media kind" is correct and all go into "My Movies", except only a few, which wind up in "Home videos"

I can adjust them after importing, but why do they not stay sticky when imported ?

I tried making a copy of the affected files and re-importing those, but it didn't help

all files are *.m4v (youtube videos converted with handbrake)

all other movies i have are also m4v, and seem to sit ok. so must be the files.

any idea what i can do so get these sticky in the correct section ?
