So I installed Leopard, and I'm converting some stuff in iTunes, and it looks like when you select "variable bit rate," it actually uses VBR now. (Previously, 160 Kbps VBR AAC files, for example, were all just 160 Kbps.) Now I'm getting 163 Kbps, 170 Kbps, etc.

Any official verification of this?
