is there any way, for automator to set the info of a list of songs, based on the filename.
say the filename is 123-456.mp3. I want it the "Artist" to be 123 and "Name" to be 456.
thank you!

AFAIK there's no Automator action that does this, but I'm pretty sure there's at least one or two shareware/freeware apps/AppleScipts that can do it. Check VersionTracker. You'll have to turn off the option in the iTunes prefs so it stops autonaming files its own way if you want to modify them.

EDIT: Looks like Dukko and Hubi's iTunes Scripts will do it and they're both free.
