I'm having trouble installing the latest version of iTunes. I downloaded iTunes.4.7.1.dmg and followed the instructions on the screen. The message said the program was successfully installed, however, nothing changes. When I open iTunes it says 7.0.2. What am I doing wrong?

I'm using an iBook G4 OSX 10.4.10. Thanks

Did you download it through Software Update?

The latest version is 7.5.

Did you previously move your iTunes app from the Applications folder, or rename it?

Check in there to see what version(s) you have.

I used Software Update, but then downloaded 7.4 from the apple download page. I prefer to download the dmg and install later because I do this at a public wifi place and I don't use my administrator account. Is this wrong? Thanks for your help.

P.S. I haven't moved iTunes from the application folder, or changed my library file.
