i have iTunes 10.5b7 and i have IOS 5GM was wondering do i need to uninstall iTunes and install the non beta version and do i need to restore my iPhone to IOS 5 tomorrow from the GM version

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

Ok so updated to reg iTunes 10.5 no problems
Now the IOS question

The iOS 5 GM you have installed is exactly the same build as what is to be released tomorrow. That's why it's called "Gold Master".

So no, there's no need to restore your iPhone.

Not always. There has been some instances where the GM build released in beta was off from the actual release. Example was Lion. The GM had a different number than release. Updates corrected that on day 1.

I beleive 4.0 beta had multiple GM builds before public.
