itunes & iPhone has doubles of some song ? DELETE ????

My son synced his phone and loaded in his music. Problem is some of the songs are duplicated as seen in the pic. We cant delete them from the phone or from iTunes !?!?!?!

How can we delete the duplicates ????

I think if you go to edit, or one of the options, and get the drop down menu, it should show something called show duplicate songs, and then you have to manually delete each one.

Otherwise try:

Did not work .... thanks though.

It did not show those song as duplicates nor will it let me edit the songs in anyway.

And he is using a G4 and does not have the hardware to run those programs... grrrrrr.. running into brickwalls here...

Nope... but thanks,...

If you look at the pic I posted you will see the duplicates are on his phone library. His itunes is fine and has no duplicates.

And get this... he added some new songs and re-synced it, he knows has triples of some songs lol....

I think we will have to goto the Apple store for this one.
