I started to notice my CPU slow down badly and iStat reports iTunes being the culprit. It was taking up 172% of the cpu and all it was doing was playing some music. It was also taking up 267MB of RAM.

So I decided to quit iTunes and relaunch it. Same problem. Now its saying iTunes is taking up lower CPU but its still 87%-125%.

What's going on?

p.s.: No, I don't have any visualizations running on iTunes.
p.p.s: I have attached some umm attachments.
