Itunes is displaying "5 credits" next to my email address in store,what does it mean?

I open up iTunes and next to my email address in the iTunes store it displays something I've never seen before: "5 Credits"


anyone have any idea what this means?

5 free downloads. Did you report any problems with a purchase to them recently? They give them out for that kind of thing sometimes.

last week I emailed them about some issues but it was resolved in a couple hours
