Recently on my powerbook, iTunes opens and the main window (aka the file list) remains blank. its just a big block of white. I fixed it once by trashing my library and reimporting all my music but now its happened again! any suggestions as constant trashing and reimporting is terrible

Also, the music is still there, I can get it to play, but i can't see it, and the search bar is greyed out.

Did you ever install UNO? Recently update OS X?

just to note

if you do have to unistall itunes, save the files in the itunes folder

the ones itunes library and iTunes Music Library.xml

then just put them back when you have reinstalled

then you wont have to reimport and you will still have your play counts etc..

I have uno installed but I don't use it to mod iTunes, just brushed metal. Sleeping it doesn't seem to work it out. I think I need to reinstall iTunes, I'm going to try to trash it with out deleting the library, but we'll see.

It's UNO. Uninstall UNO and reinstall iTunes.
