I'm using iTunes on Windows, and I have started ripping a bunch of TV Show DVD's I have with Handbreak. When they are ripped, I drag the movies to iTunes and the files get copied to the iTunes "Movies" folder, I make them a "TV Show" in iTunes, and they get moved to the appropriate "TV Shows" folder.

Now this system is great, and it worked for a hundred or so episodes, but all of a sudden, iTunes is no longer moving the files to the iTunes "TV Shows" folder, but instead leaving them in the "Movies" folder.

Now in iTunes they are still being listed as TV shows, which is great for the Apple TV and iPad using Home sharing, but I also share the "TV Shows" folder out over my network so that my girlfriends Windows laptop can browse the files and watch them on there over the WiFi.

So why, all of a sudden is iTunes leaving the files in the movies folder? I have iTunes managing the media file, and a consolidate library doesn't seem to change anything.

I had tagged a lot of meta data into these files, including Episode name, number and season, and that too is not being reflected in the iTunes folder.

I know iTunes can be a bit janky, but suddenly stopping moving files seems really weird.

Anyone have any idea why this may of stopped happening, and how I can get it resolved?
