Hi everyone,
I have had my macbook air for over a year now. A few months ago the HDD went south on me so I had a new one put it. I had no backups, but I dont really use this computer for anything important. Just browsing the internet on the road and listening to music, which I have copies of on my Imac. I did not really want to manually put all of my music back on my computer so I used the migration assistant to copy everything from my new iMac to my Air. When I did that, I really have not used the air. I turned it on a few days ago for the first time in months and am having issues with Itunes. The first thing it said was that version 10 was available so I downloaded the update. After it updated and I got all of my music imported, it shows no music in the roster. It just shows the generic "add your music" screen like it does the first time you open the application. When I click play, my music will start! This leads me to believe that for some reason, itunes is not able to populate a list or something is wrong with a rendering functionality. The music will play just fine, I just cant "see" anything besides the welcome screen. It will change with each area I go to like books or tv shows, but I get the same blank rosters. If I click the Radio tab Itunes will crash after a few seconds. This is really bugging me and I want to get it fixed. I downgraded itunes back to itunes 9.1.1 with the same problem, and I never had this problem before, so maybe something went wrong during the migration? Any help would be great! I have a first gen macbook air running leopard. Everything is up to date as far as the computer is concerned except the itunes now.
Thanks!
