itunes issue

hi, everytime i add music to my itunes, it doesnt physically move the music into the itunes music folder. it just shows up in itunes, then when i look at the file info of a song i just added, it shows the location where the music was before i added it to itunes.

check your settings in iTunes > preferences > advanced. is copy to ... when adding to library checked off ?

also, on the same tab, make sure iTunes media folder location is pointing toward the desired spot.
