I need help with my iTunes issues that just started.

I rented an movie and this is the issue I am having.

I first tried to watch it on my Apple Tv (newest version) and it says says " To play this content on your apple TV, choose Authorize this computer from the store menu in Itunes on your computer, then enter the Apple ID and password used for the purchase." mind you I can play everything els on my Apple TV from my ITunes library. *When I go to play it on my computer it says "this movie requires Quicktime which is not supported by this version of ITunes." I deleted this rental without watching it.

I wanted to see if it was just a rental issue or Itunes issue so I bought a movie and a song. *The song I had no issues with I can play it both on my computer and Apple TV. *The movie I am able to play it on my Apple TV but not on my computer. I get the same I get the**error "this movie requires Quicktime which is not supported by this version of ITunes." Like I said I can play it on my Apple TV with no issues.

Also I can play everything els including the other 40 movies in my ITunes library on my computer and Apple TV with no issues.
