help when i open it it shuts down again keep getting this warning:

The file “iTunes Library.itl” does not appear to be a valid iTunes library file. iTunes has attempted to recover your iTunes library and renamed this file to “iTunes Library (Damaged) 1”.

Sounds like your iTunes library is corrupted and you need to start over and re-add your media to iTunes. Open iTunes while holding down the Option Key. In the pop up window choose Create New. Drag your iTunes media folder onto the iTunes Library in the left column.

You know, the option/alt key on the keyboard? Hold it down while clicking on the iTunes icon. Instead of iTunes opening you will be presented with a pop up window with 3 choices. Quit, Create New, Choose.
