iTunes Keeps Downloading Rented Movie

This summer I rented "Cloverfield" on iTunes. Since then iTunes will keep downloading the movie (doesn't cost me anything) whenever I restart my MacBook and will give me an error pop-up when it has finished downloading or if downloading was canceled. And about ever couple of hours the error pop-up will come up when iTunes is open. How do I fix this problem?

This looks more like it may be a problem with your iTunes account than your iTunes program.
