itunes keeps losing file locations!! ahhh!

Ok, lately i have been getting the annoying ! marks by songs and when i try to click them itunes says that it doesnt know where the file location is, and i have to locate it manually. i do this for all the songs that get like this but now ive had it. is there any possible way to stop this from happening? im on a pc btw :|
