i am running itunes on a pc and every time i got to start it immediately goes to not responding... any help would be appreciated. just to let you know i tried to reload itunes and it does not help.

I just read an interesting article that mentions this very subject over on Roughly Drafted. The explanation the article gave was this: Windows doesn't handle the multiple independent processes iTunes creates when it is started very well, which is why iTunes can be intolerably slow on Windows sometimes. Not all people experience this problem, though.

Anyway... did you try uninstalling iTunes then reinstalling?
