Itunes keeps removing my apps

what the hell is iTunes doing. i plugged my phone in left it came back after sync was done and half my apps are gone. (this is the first time syncing my apps to my new mac.) so i checked my iTunes and it showed 24 updates and all my apps were in cloud storage. so i downloaded a few plugged it back in and it started removing them again. I'm so pissed right now. why does iTunes do this. my comp is authorized and i have no backup to go off of because the is my first real sync with apps.

To check that you have the options set correctly.

If you have automatically sync apps checked this will happen

Uncheck that box and then select the apps you want then sync. That way, iTunes won't keep removing them.
