I am trying to use discrete passages from a long track on separate slides in Keynote. I know how to reduce the track length in iTunes by getting info, going to the options pane, and selecting the start and stop time. Unfortunately, when I then include this track as media into Keynote, the entire track plays, rather than the desired selection. Does anyone know a way to fix this problem or a work around? My back is against the wall as I have to give these two presentations in less than a week.:(

Use an audio editor like Audacity to cut out the segments of the track.

Thank you so much for the wonderful advice! I downloaded the program and finished the draft of my project today. I couldn't have done it without your kind and gracious assistance!
