This has happened for a long time but I want for fix it before moving to iCloud.
iTunes runs on my MBP with the music library on a wireless disk. On occasion the connection to my wifi network will drop, frequently if the laptop has gone to sleep. If iTunes attempts to do anything without a connection to the disk, it creates and uses a local library under the admin-user. When I need to move the pointer back to the disk it asks me if I want to move all the files etc. If I don't move it back, iTunes can find 99% of the music.
This is a real pain. I try to never open iTunes if I'm out of the house because I know I'll have to deal with this when I get home. Is there a fix?
