Hello Guys.
I'm going to make a clean install when Lion gets released. When thats done, I will have a totally empty iTunes library. So I was wondering; If I sync my library to one of my devices before I make the clean install, can I then transfer the library from my device to my computer after I've done the Lion install?

- Thanks. :apple:

Or you could simply copy the entire iTunes Music folder from Macintosh HD / Users / YOU / Music to an external HDD and copy it back, once you updated to Lion. That only works, if you have your actual music files sorted and backed up too (they normally should be in the iTunes Music folder too).

So, lets say I make a timemachine backup of my computer, and install Lion. How do I then get the old library back?

- I'm sorry, but as you can hear I'm pretty much a noob about this. :)

You can restore the iTunes Library via Setup or Migration Assistant or copy it manually from the TM backup to your new installed system.
