iTunes Library from Mac to PC

For the last 3 years all ive done at uni is use my Macbook Pro and my iTunes has grown a lot over time.
I've finished uni now and am home and i use my PC more than my Laptop. So im wonderding is there a way to import my Mac's iTunes library to my PC and retain all the info about the songs? I mean like date added, play count, stars given etc...

Or is the only way just re-adding all of the songs and starting off with 0 plays and stuff?

I was going to say use the Home Sharing feature in iTunes, but i'm not 100% sure if it keeps as much information as you want like play counts etc.
