iTunes library issue

Hey all... Im having a problem with my iTunes library. When I re-installed my OS and all my apps on my MacBook, I copied my music folder over from my Mac mini. For some reason, it looks for the mac mini to play the songs even though they are local on the MB. If I'm not on my home network, I get the dreaded "*** Could not be found, would you like to locate it now?" and if I browse to it, it works after that.

My question is this... Is there an easy way to get iTunes to "re-look" at all my files in my iTunes folder? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Click on iTunes in the menu and select preferences>advanced and make sure the location of the library is on your mac instead of the location on the Mac Mini.

Then click on advanced > consolidate library. That will make iTunes put all the music in the location on your hard drive. Wherever that might be. I would suggest making the iTunes folder be in your music folder..

Make sure you didn't actually make shortcuts to the Mini too.
