Hi,

I have recently gone from an early 2008 MBP 2.5C2D with a 250gb HD to a 2.53 i5 15" with a 500gb HD...

Previously I stored my iTunes library around (60gb)on a 250gb External as I felt it would keep my MBP upto speed. As well as storing my iTunes library on the MBP I also store software and my Timemachine back ups.

If I moved my itunes library to the MBPs 500gb HD would I find that it would affect the machines performance speed wise, booting and loading files, applications etc or would not affect the machine?

Thanks,

It won't matter. If you want more speed get a SSD.

Its not that I want more speed, I just want to makes sure the extra 60gb or so wont affect boot times and app loading
