iTunes Library on Airport Extreme

What problems should I expect moving my iTunes Library (now on an external HD connected via Firewire 800 to my iMac) to an HD connected to an Airport Extreme Base Station via USB? How to do it safely?

While I do not have a Mac, I would bet that it is similar to me using my iTunes Library on my NAS, as in, it doesn't really matter nor will it hurt anything.
