iTunes Library on Ext HDD

Hi.

I know I'm being a pain about posting a Windows 7 query but IMO it will be the same as any Mac issue of the same basics.

I've moved my Library from iTunes to my external HDD but everytime I take my HDD out my iTunes auto finds My Music/iTunes path and I have to re-add the library via preferences.

Any way I can force iTunes to change libraries to my HDD whenever I plug it in, or to keep it as the hard drive even when it's unplugged?
