iTunes library PC to Mac

Thinking about getting an i Mac in the Spring. This question has probably been asked a few times before,but my searching skills on this forum is still in it's infancy. What is the easiest way to move my i-tunes library from my current PC to my new i Mac. I have read that you can use your i Pod but I have more than 10gigs of music in my i Tunes library and only a 6 gig i Pod mini. Is there a way of using a cable between the 2 computers and importing from PC TO Mac.

You can network the two machines via ethernet or a wireless network (ethernet cable is recommended for such a large transfer). From here it should be a matter of simply dragging your iTunes folder across to the new machine.

If you have large enough external hdd, you could put the songs on it, then transfer from the hdd to the Mac.

One thing though, it isnt i-Tunes, I-pod, or I-Mac, its just iPod, iTunes, and iMac.
