Itunes library/photos viewing on ATV

I have a 2nd gen ATV. Whenever trying to view my photos or videos on my ATV thru "Computers" app, if my iMac(High Sierra) is asleep, its says"turn on sharing in iTunes" even though it's on,so every time I have to manually wake up my iMac in order to view my pix and videos.Is there any way around this?

I am not at home currently but so cannot check settings. But my Home Sharing works from iMac to ATV4 (and earlier ATV’s) when iMac sleeping. But I think there are some settings to do with what will wake from sleep.
