iTunes Library problem! Help please!

I tried to copy my iTunes Media folder from my SSD C drive to my hard drive (D:\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media) (I also changed my directory in Preferences) and then deleted my old itunes folder in C: but iTunes won't recognize my new itunes media folder. Can someone please help? I've been trying to fix this for hours, but I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Try launching iTunes by pressing and holding down the \= (i.e. alt) key and clicking the iTunes icon ... you should get a launch panel that allows you to create or choose a library (i.e. the one on the SSD) ... hope that works for you !

You can change the iTunes folder location in the preferences.
